GPS Surveys

Field data is captured with Trimble R8, GNSS receivers. Depending on the job parameters, cell phone technology can be used to obtain corrections from known base stations.

For more remote projects, a base station is utilized on or near the project employing both American and Russian satellite constellations in harmony.

Precise point positioning, and post-processing can solve unknown autonomous positions as required. An example of this system is a successfully completed 110 km control survey for Spectra Energy along a mountainous pipeline corridor.
